Responsibilities

• Plan and develop software for special‑purpose machines using programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
• Test and/or simulate software functionality with innovative virtual‑commissioning software
• Commission systems for our customers both virtually and on‑site and integrate them into higher‑level systems
• Create workflows for customer‑specific applications
• Support customers in programming related applications in IEC 61131‑3
• Develop visualisations and user interfaces

Profile

• Technician / Master craftsperson (electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar) or a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Sound knowledge and initial experience in software development with Beckhoff TwinCAT 3, Codesys and/or Siemens
• Experience in robot programming (Stäubli, KUKA) is an advantage
• Experience with Nexeed programming is a plus
• Independent, well‑structured working style and strong analytical skills
• Solution‑oriented approach with excellent communication skills and customer focus
• Willingness to travel (~40 %) for commissioning at customer sites (mainly in the Stuttgart metropolitan area, typically within daily commuting distance)
• Openness to occasional international assignments
• Confident communication in German and English, both written and spoken, suitable for documentation
